His quest for knowledge led him to the United States, where he completed a residency in internal medicine at Richmond University Medical Center on Staten Island and further honed his expertise with a fellowship in geriatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York City.

With a rich background as an attending physician and chief medical officer, Dr. Obi chose to establish his practice to directly enhance patient care through personalized attention.
